Double ladder with pull-up bar
OF2-20 is a two-station outdoor gym device combining a gymnastic ladder with a pull-up bar. Its construction allows work on both upper-body strength and the flexibility of the whole muscular system.
Variant 1 – pull-up on the baris one of the more demanding exercises available in outdoor gyms. Gripping the bar with an overhand or underhand grip and avoiding swinging, the user pulls their body up to chest height, then controllably lowers it. The exercise mainly engages the latissimus dorsi, biceps and the muscles stabilising the shoulder girdle. It requires decent baseline strength, so beginners may need time to adapt – it's worth starting with hangs and negative pull-ups.
Variant 2 – stretching on the rungsuses the ladder as a support point. Resting the foot on a rung at waist height and performing torso bends – once towards the raised leg, once towards the leg on the ground – stretches the posterior chain of the leg, the lumbar region and the back. This is an exercise with a much lower barrier to entry than the pull-up, available to a wider group of users.
Combining both functions in one device makes the double ladder one of the more versatile outdoor-fitness elements.
