What Is Parametric Furniture?

Parametric design allows us to create forms that cannot be achieved using traditional manufacturing methods. Instead of working with one fixed shape, we define a range of parameters such as length, height, material thickness, the rhythm and spacing of individual slats, radii, curves, bulges and recesses. By adjusting these parameters, we create unique, fluid and organic forms that change visually depending on the viewing angle and the way light interacts with the surface.

The result is a piece of furniture that simultaneously:

• provides a fully functional purpose – comfortable, durable and designed for everyday use,
• works as a sculptural element in public space,
• becomes a distinctive and recognisable feature of a location – often attracting the attention of visitors and becoming a popular photo spot.

Parametric Benches for Indoor and Outdoor Spaces

We create parametric furniture for both interior and exterior spaces – with particularly extensive experience in outdoor projects, an area in which relatively few manufacturers in Poland can offer comparable expertise.

Our indoor parametric benches are designed for shopping centres, hotels, office buildings, waiting areas and lobbies. Their imaginative, flowing and undulating forms become an integral part of the interior design, providing an attractive place to rest and a natural meeting point.

Outdoor parametric benches are our speciality. Street furniture and park furniture must withstand rain, frost, sunlight and moisture. That is why we design our bespoke outdoor furniture from the ground up for demanding weather conditions. We use moisture-resistant materials and solutions suitable for changing climates, including high-quality exotic hardwoods such as Iroko and Sapele, which require virtually no servicing, as well as waterproof plywood protected with an anti-fungal coating and water-based lacquer where the geometry of the project requires it. Steel structural components and disassembly systems allow the furniture to be seasonally protected during winter, significantly extending its service life.

Parametric Design, Manufacturing and Installation – All in One Place

We manage the entire process in-house, from the initial concept through to final installation:

1. Parametric design – we create CAD models and develop the shape, material, dimensions and rhythm of the form, always taking ergonomics and user comfort into account.
2. Manufacturing – production takes place at our facility in Bąkowo near Gdańsk, using CNC machinery for processing wood and sheet materials, supported by our own steel fabrication department.
3. Installation – we deliver and install the finished furniture on site, ensuring that every detail performs exactly as planned during the design and engineering stage.
