Jumping jack + Stepper | OF2 series
OF2-09+16 is a set of two outdoor gym devices combined on a single structure – a jumping jack and a stepper. Both stations work independently, offering two different movement patterns engaging the lower body.
Jumping jackworks in the frontal plane – the user spreads and brings the legs together in a rhythmic pendulum-like motion while holding the handles. The exercise focuses on the thigh adductors and abductors and the glutes. It is precisely these muscles that are responsible for lateral pelvic stabilisation and stride control, so regular work on the jumping jack has a real effect on improving balance and reducing the risk of falls – especially important for seniors moving on slippery ground.
Stepperengages the same muscle groups in a different plane of movement – alternately shifting body weight from leg to leg simulates walking or climbing stairs. The exercise supports building the muscle mass of the thighs and glutes, and the rhythmic movement improves circulation in the lower limbs. Its low intensity and the absence of joint-loading impacts mean the stepper is well tolerated by older and less mobile people.
Combining both devices in one module allows a varied leg workout without the need to move between stations – useful both during solo circuit-style exercise and joint training in pairs.
