Stepper + Pendulum | OF2 series
OF2-12 + OF2-16 is a set of two complementary outdoor gym devices, combining a stepper and a pendulum on a common structure. Both devices work independently, allowing alternate or parallel exercise of different body parts.
Pendulum (OF2-16)mainly engages the hip, abdominal and back muscles through a lateral pendulum motion. The exercise is done standing on the footrests and holding the handles – rhythmically shifting body weight from leg to leg in the frontal plane mobilises the hip joints and the lumbar spine while training the sense of balance and trunk stabilisation.
Stepper (OF2-12)simulates the movement of walking or climbing stairs. By gripping the handles and alternately shifting weight from leg to leg, we activate the thigh, glute and calf muscles and, along the way, improve circulation in the lower body. This is a relatively simple exercise with a low joint load, well tolerated by older people and those returning to physical activity.
Combining both devices in one set makes it possible to do a short, varied workout without changing stations – worth using in exercise circuits or during joint training in pairs.
