1. Who is the programme for?
   
   1. The programme is aimed at municipalities running childcare institutions for children up to 3 years of age (or up to 4 years where a kindergarten is not available), such as nurseries and children’s clubs.
   2. Only institutions entered in the register of nurseries and children’s clubs before the programme was announced may apply.
2. What can the funding be used for?
   
   1. Playground modernisation: the construction, redevelopment or refurbishment of existing structures.
   2. The purchase and installation of equipment: e.g. sensory paths, mud kitchens, swings, gazebos, benches.
   3. Natural elements: vegetable gardens, landscaped mounds, willow shelters.
   4. Safety surfacing: e.g. sand, grass, grass-reinforcement mats.
   5. Educational materials: aids for outdoor play (e.g. chalk, drawing boards).
3. Which costs are ineligible?
   
   1. The cost of interest, loans and leasing.
   2. The purchase of grounds-maintenance equipment (e.g. mowers, rakes).
   3. The construction of playground fencing.
   4. Recoverable VAT.
4. Level of funding:
   
   1. The maximum amount of funding is PLN 300,000 per institution.
   2. No own contribution is required.
5. Deadlines:
   
   1. Delivery of projects: from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025.
   2. Submission of applications: applications could be submitted until 31 December 2024, in line with the decision of the Minister for Family Affairs closing the possibility of applying at the end of the sixth round of the rolling call.       Applications must be submitted electronically via the ePUAP platform.
