OFX-12 Assisted Pull-Up, Chin-Up, Leg Reises & Dip Machine (3-in-1)
A 3-in-1 outdoor machine for the upper body: assisted pull-ups and chin-ups, assisted triceps dips, and knee raises. The counterweight takes some of your body weight off, so moves that are tough on your own become doable for beginners, and you can work up to the full, unassisted version. You stand on the counterweight platform instead of kneeling. To train with your full body weight, lock the platform in its lowest position. Three pull-up handles (wide, narrow and neutral/hammer) let you vary your grip.
1. Assisted Pull-Up / Chin-Up
Grab a handle, brace your abs and pull your chest up toward the handles, driving your elbows down. Lower yourself slowly. A wide grip puts more emphasis on your back, an underhand grip (chin-up) brings in more biceps, and the neutral grip is typically easier on your wrists and elbows.
Muscles worked: lats, mid-back (traps and rhomboids), biceps, forearms.
2. Assisted Triceps Dip
Grip the dip handles and lower your body until your elbows bend to about 90°, then press back up without locking your elbows. Keep your elbows close to your body and move with control.
Muscles worked: triceps, chest (pectoralis major), front shoulders.
3. Knee Raises
Brace your abs and raise your legs toward your chest. At the top, tilt your pelvis up slightly and exhale; that’s where your abs work hardest. Lower your legs slowly and don’t swing.
Muscles worked: abs (rectus abdominis), hip flexors.
