A modern playground for a developer

At a modern housing estate on Letnicka Street in Gdańsk we delivered a comprehensive playground designed with the youngest residents in mind and for aesthetic consistency with the surrounding architecture. The investment was carried out on behalf of a developer and forms an integral part of the estate’s shared space. STARMAX playground manufacturer – Pomorskie region.

The central point of the project is a play set from the STARMAX forest collection, kept in a delicate, pastel-green colour scheme. Its natural form and subtle nature-inspired details mean that the playground blends harmoniously into the modern development and the greenery of the estate.

Rich functionality and high play value

The play set consists of three roofed towers, connected by a variety of passages that create a coherent and attractive space for play and exploration. Children have at their disposal as many as three slides, a climbing wall, a climbing ladder, a rope entry, a rope passage with handles and a horizontal rope walkway, developing coordination, strength and balance.

The set is complemented by elements that encourage themed and creative play: a long tunnel, a window panel, a "porthole" panel for looking out, a fireman’s pole and a decorative hedgehog-shaped panel, which gives the whole a friendly, woodland character and stimulates children’s imagination.

A modern playground for a developer

The playground has been enriched with a scooter spring rocker, which is an attractive addition to the zone for younger children. The whole is completed by an information board with rules, colour-matched to the play set.

In the immediate vicinity of the playground, park benches and litter bins in an anthracite colour with wooden infill were installed, creating a coherent, attractive and functional rest area for carers.

Safety and aesthetics of the highest standard

The playground surface was made of safe EPDM rubber granulate, which effectively cushions falls while giving the whole project a modern and attractive character. This solution not only raises the level of safety but also emphasises the high standard of the investment.

The result of the project is a functional, safe and visually attractive playground that fosters physical activity, the integration of children and the building of a quality shared space for estate residents.
