Thanks to regular inspections, the owner or administrator of a playground can be sure the facility is fully safe for its users. We offer comprehensive inspections of recreational equipment. Our experienced team of technicians will quickly inspect playgrounds, outdoor gyms and street-workout sets regardless of the equipment manufacturer. We finish each inspection with a report including photographic documentation and any comments. We carry out inspection and maintenance activities in accordance with the requirements of the safety standards PN-EN 1176 and EN 16630.

Standards on inspections
Playgrounds, outdoor gyms and other recreational and sports facilities should undergo inspections to detect faults resulting from wear, vandalism and weather conditions. An inspection makes it possible to assess the condition of a playground in terms of wear and continued suitability. An inspection may result in the need for servicing.
Standard PN-EN 1176 defines three types of inspection that every playground should undergo:
- Routine visual inspection (every 1–7 days)
- Operational inspection (every 1–3 months)
- Annual main inspection, andlso called the basic inspection
The most important is the annual main inspection, which should be carried out by experienced personnel, andnd ideally by the equipment manufacturer.
Scope of a playground inspection
The annual main inspection carried out by STARMAX includes:
- The condition of equipment foundations
- Checking wear of moving parts
- Checking the impact of weather conditions on play equipment
- Checking for signs of decay or corrosion
- Checking the condition of the surfacing
- Checking changes in the playground's safety level resulting from repairs carried out
- Producing an inspection report with photographic documentation
- Preparing a cost estimate for any repairs
Please note that the results of all inspections (both positive ones and those revealing faults to be fixed) should be recorded in the so-called playground inspection log, kept together with the facility's documentation.
Inspection price
Depending on the number of playgrounds or gyms, the starting price for a full inspection of the first facility is 650 zł netto, and 450 zł netto for each additional one plus TRAVEL COST. If you have more than 7 facilities, you'll receive an individual quote.

Warranty and post-warranty servicing
We offer repairs of playgrounds and outdoor gyms. We use original spare parts supplied by the manufacturer.
We'll replace damaged parts – chains, swing seats, bearings, climbing holds and plastic covers for bolted joints. We refurbish metal components and protect them against corrosion.
