We are proud to report the completed testing phase of the Poolbil™ outdoor billiard table at the newly built Szumilas estate, delivered in cooperation with the developer Robyg. This unique, all-year-round billiard table was installed in the estate’s shared space for a test period. The aim was to verify its quality, functionality and reception by residents in natural, everyday conditions of use.

A billiard table on the estate – the aim of the tests

Checking durability – how does the product behave in changeable weather and with everyday use?
Assessing community reception – does the table bring residents together and activate the shared space?
Verifying the product in the field – real-world tests, not laboratory assumptions – is the key to improving the offer.

Residents’ reaction to open-air billiards

The installation prompted a wave of positive comments on social media and in estate groups. Here are a few sample opinions:

After more than two months of intensive use in harsh weather conditions, we noticed no signs of wear or damage. This is a huge success and confirmation that the Poolbil™ construction withstands reality – from snow, through rain, to daily play sessions.

The accessory locker

The security of the equipment was a priority for us. That is why, right under the table, we installed a sealed locker for the cues, balls and triangle, closed with a shared key – the same one that opens the bin shelter. As a result:

The equipment is available 24/7 to residents,
people from outside the estate have no access – which effectively minimises the risk of theft or vandalism,
the whole solution proved simple and effective.
